Inside a Brick Lab Birthday
Looking for birthday party ideas in Orlando that get every guest involved? Brick Lab brings the party to your place. Our trailer arrives stocked with more than 60,000 building bricks and baseplates, and our party host runs 90 minutes of building and racing.
How the party runs
Our Orlando team arrives, parks the trailer nearby and sets up a 10 x 20 tent with tables and chairs. Then the building starts, with fun music playing: kids create a brick masterpiece of their own or build from the instructions. Next comes the Brick Lab Derby, where every guest builds a brick car and races it down the ramp. Each child takes home a brick figure they built, a brick bracelet and an activity sheet, and the birthday child gets a Big Idea Brick Lab T-shirt.
Why kids love building
At the brick table they practice teamwork and social skills, communication and language, and problem solving, math and spatial awareness. They get to be creative and experiment, work on their physical development, and practice focus and concentration. And a finished build brings self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
We bring birthday party entertainment to Orlando and across Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Lake counties, including Winter Park, Lake Mary, Kissimmee, Apopka, Sanford, Clermont and Winter Garden. Within 30 minutes of us there is no travel fee; farther out, the fee is set before you book.
Orlando Brick Birthday FAQs
Can more than 10 children join?
Yes. Each child over 10 is $10.
Does the birthday child get anything extra?
Yes - a Big Idea Brick Lab T-shirt.
Which add-ons go with a birthday?
Popcorn, snow cones and cotton candy are $85 each and serve up to 35. Balloon twisting, glitter tattoos and face paint are $150 an hour. Add-ons book with a party, not on their own.
Do I need to help run the party?
Our party host runs the build. We ask for at least one adult to help with the children.
Does it work as an engineering or STEM birthday party?
Yes. Kids design and build a car from bricks, then race it down the Brick Lab Derby ramp to see how it runs. Every child also builds a figure to take home.
